🚔 Anti-Social Behaviour in Shifnal: Help Us Tackle It |
||
|
1️⃣ What do we want the public to know?
We have seen an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in and around Shifnal. Concerns raised by residents include excessive door knocking and banging on doors, youths entering derelict buildings on Aston Street, playing loud music in public spaces, damaging park equipment, and using abusive language towards members of the public when challenged. This behaviour causes distress to local residents and negatively impacts the community. It is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Addressing anti-social behaviour is a priority under the Local Policing Community Charter, and the Safer Neighbourhood Team is committed to responding to these concerns.
2️⃣ How do we want the public to feel?
We want residents to feel reassured that these reports are being taken seriously. Officers will be carrying out additional patrols in identified hotspot areas, engaging with young people, and taking positive action where anti-social behaviour is identified. Those involved can expect their behaviour to be challenged.
3️⃣ What do we want the public to do?
Please continue to report incidents and share information with us. Community intelligence helps us identify problem areas, direct patrols effectively, and take appropriate action.
